TÊT ANIMALS —
“Chúc mừng năm mới!”
In 2015, for the Art Vietnam gallery, Lolo Zazar created a series of 12 animals — the twelve signs of the Vietnamese lunar zodiac.
A modern and playful interpretation, these sculptures are full of fantasy.
Over 20 years, Lolo photographed Hanoi’s walls, graffiti, and graphic numbers, capturing daily life.
He assembled these images into joyful 3D creatures that seem to dance.
Each sculpted animal reveals its own spirit, enhanced by witty and light-hearted photo textures.
The exhibition, shown for Tết 2015, evokes a sense of joyful anticipation for a new year full of promise.
